I was talking to one of friends and he made a comment that if we become what we think about, than why are not more porn stars in the world?

I thought that was a pretty good question.

We have all heard the statistics in regard to how often men think about sex. So if there are so many thoughts focusing on sex then why don’t we see more people whose character is defined by sex? Does it mean that there is a gap between thoughts and actions? I told him that there is a gap, not all thoughts become actions.

Actually a thought is the primary function of our mind. Mind always keeps on thinking of one thing or the other. It burns majority of its energy in thinking. That is because thought is a bridge between physical world and inner world. Have you ever pondered from where these thoughts come from, from physical world or the inner world?

The truth is that it sure comes from physical world or the outside world for most of us. Our five senses capture it and send it to our conscious mind or thought level. On the other hand there is a case where for some people thoughts comes from with in or emotional level. Science calls emotional level, the subconscious mind.

When these acquired thoughts come out and if it generates the emotions, those emotions often are negative emotions. Anger and jealousy are emotions acquired and motivated by situations happening in physical world. In contrast to this, when emotions are born of inner world or emotional level, always are positive emotions i.e. kindness, compassion etc.

This difference can easily be seen in a child. He is thoughtless. He hasn’t developed the thought process. He is simply on the other corner of the time line. This means he is an angel of Love. An absolute beauty. The purest of souls.

Of course as he grows old the love diminishes and lust starts to take over. The reason being that the energies starts to flow from outside to inside in his thought process and it increases by the day. Negative emotions consume energy and on the other hand positive emotions generates huge amount of energy. The children are full of energy and it reduces down as they grow old.

The sexual energy acquired from outside creates disturbance in the thought process. It breeds curiosity, which breeds endeavor and than contempt. It creates a curfew like situation. It creates stress like situation in the thought level, and needless to say that actions generated by stressed out thought level will always be awful in quality.

Rape is one such repercussion that we read everyday in our news papers. This incident can only happen when negative emotions like sexual energies coup against the thought level. At this juncture the person crosses the thin line between sanity and profanity and its manifestation is Rape. What could be a better example of emotional destabilization? But I sincerely believe that at the moment of rape, if stopped in time, this incident will never happen. The momentary emotion will pass and the occupied mind will be in control and thus the situation will be avoided.

The other day I saw a beautiful woman on the road, I liked her a lot. I saw her radiant face, her beautiful eyes and her enchanting demeanor. I instantaneously felt like falling in love with this beauty. It was like first sight love. But this is not a first sight love, this is not even love. This is called infatuation. Its foundation is laid strictly on physical appearance. This is initial level of attachment.

The better situation would be to spend some time with each other and find out that how much you are compatible on thought level, and then you develop a relationship with each other. It certainly is better than infatuation. Even though in a layman’s term we would still call it love. But if you look into the depth of it, it is anything but love. This is the succeeding level of attachment.

Third level of attachment is when you are attached with somebody on emotional level. In this case physical appearance does not matter. It would not matter even if your thoughts are different. Love is felt and can only be seen when two people are attached on emotional level, and it is not necessary to be between man and woman. It can be found in its purest and natural form in a relationship between a mother and a child. You can see it among friends as well. Where there are no implications. Where there are no setup rules. You can be what you are.

Dale Carnegie wrote a best seller “How to win friends and influence people”, and he sold millions of copies around the planet. Why? Because your success is relative to the number of friends you have. The success could be in your career or in your family or in social level. Success = How many people are influenced by your personality.

But how is it possible? I am not convinced with the solution provided by Dale Carnegie. Contrary to this I am convinced with the formula provided by Jesus and Buddha and that is the path of Love, and we don’t need any evidence to know that how many people are influenced by them. So ask yourself only one question that is how to strengthen your god given emotion of love, on the emotional level? Emotion is the fountain head of success.
